Job Description:

What you'll do:

Own and contribute to circuit and system verification for the VBAT aircraft and all supporting products. This includes new circuit designs, embedded systems, complex sensors, gimbal cameras, and payloads.

Identify bugs, risks, concerns. Propose solutions and design updates. Provide feedback to the engineering team

Provide approval for new designs and integrations before they are released to customers

Engage with the cross functional team including mechanical, electrical, embedded, manufacturing, thermal, etc.

Manage your project timeline and deliverables

Help our team improve processes to enable your work and improve efficiency/autonomy

Conduct and attend cross functional design reviews

Mentor teammates when possible

Help develop automated test solutions for engineering and production

Other duties as assigned

Required qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering; or equivalent work experience

3+ years of industry experience as an Electrical Engineer

Contribution to a product design involving EE, ME, and SW engineering

Experience with circuit testing, debugging, navigating a schematic + layout, using basic lab tools/equipment, and documenting findings in a clear way

Detail oriented and organized

You have a demonstrated record of working hard, being a trustworthy teammate, holding yourself and others to high standards, and being kind to others

Preferred qualifications:

Experience working on cutting-edge autonomous robotic systems

Proven background in thriving within fast-paced environments, particularly within startup or R&D settings

Demonstrated adaptability, agility, and the ability to innovate under pressure to meet dynamic project demands and drive successful outcomes.

Total package details:

Regular employee positions: Salary within range listed above + Bonus + Benefits + Equity

Temporary employee positions: Hourly within range listed above + temporary benefits package (applicable after 60 days of employment)

*Interns/Military Fellows/Part-time not eligible for bonus, benefits or equity
