As a Staff Electrical Engineer – Test, you will be responsible for supporting the electrical test solution designs of Shield AI's autonomous UAV and quadcopter products. You will be the interface between engineering design, manufacturing, production, and external design partners.  
Specific responsibilities include:
  • Lead test solution designs for PCBAs and aircraft sub-systems 
  • Work with engineering to understand circuit and system level functional details 
  • Lead test solution bring-up and verification 
  • Lead engagement with external and internal partners to build test fixtures 
  • Improve production processes as they pertain to EE hardware 
  • Create systems to manage test data and use it to drive engineering and manufacturing improvements 
  • Support test fixtures over their lifetime 
  • Track risks, status, timelines, priorities, etc. Communicate upward to team leadership 
  • Required qualifications:
  • B.S. in electrical engineering, or equivalent qualifying experience 
  • 5+ years relevant industry experience   
  • Highly organized and detail oriented 
  • Have supported and/or led multiple test solution designs 
  • Have experience with CAD software such as Altium or Cadence 
  • Skilled with basic EE equipment such as an oscilloscope, power supply, multi-meter, etc. 
  • Preferred qualifications
  • Familiar with product lifecycle management (PLM) systems

    Total compensation: Salary within range listed above + Bonus + Benefits + Equity (if applicable)
    Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, licenses and certifications, and specific work location. Information on the benefits offered is here. All offers are contingent on a cleared background check.

    Location guidelines-
    Onsite = 5 days/week
    Hybrid = Several days in the office
    Remote = Remote but able to come to the office as requested for business needs
