Account Executive

We are looking for an Account Executive to establish and build relationships with our clients and partners. You will identify, develop, and close new business opportunities with various industries while adapting quickly to our fast-changing technology and products. This role contains aspects of sales, partnership-building, and marketing. You’ll work closely with Sales Leadership, Solutions Engineering, and Marketing to continually refine and improve our value proposition, sales strategy, and sales operations. In particular, the selling of licenses for our AI models is important (https://stability.ai/membership). 

Responsibilities:  

  • Develop a robust pipeline of qualified sales opportunities and manage them in CRM software (Hubspot etc). Curate and qualify inbound leads and help assign leads depending on the company and needs. Engage with prospects throughout the sales funnel, nurturing relationships to convert leads into customers.
  • Working with the marketing team, execute outbound communication strategies, such as targeted email campaigns. 
  • Account management: acting as the main point of contact for existing clients, focus on ensuring customer satisfaction and retention. Proactively address concerns, provide timely support, and regularly assess the clients’ ongoing needs and experiences.
  • Sales operations: ensure smooth internal processes by collecting key performance indicators (KPIs) and tracking sales data. Prepare invoices, as well as liaising with other departments for a streamlined sales process, including coordinating with Finance / Legal / Marketing teams to make proposals.
  • Work closely with Stability’s channel partners (e.g. AWS) to find opportunities and close deals.
  • Continually refine and improve our value proposition, sales strategy, and sales operations
  • Work with our solutions engineers to deliver custom projects and technical support to partners/clients
  • Inform our product roadmaps and features by gathering customer feedback and conveying market needs.
  • Understand and communicate the unique value proposition of our technology to organizations

Qualifications: 

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in Japanese and business-level English proficiency
  • 3~10 years of experience in fast-paced sales environments 
  • Ability to adapt and go deep on generative AI, becoming an expert on the use cases of our technology
  • Ability to work in dynamic and uncertain environments 
  • Past experience in media, entertainment, or advertising is a plus
  • Strong technical knowledge (machine learning, cloud solutions, etc.) is a plus
