Tome is building across a broad surface area, ranging from types of content you can use to express your work, to ways to collaborate with your team.
Despite the breadth, there’s a need to execute rigorously, with great depth and attention to detail in each area to build a world-class product. To scale that, the team is looking to hire a Full Stack Engineer to drive the team’s most important and complex projects.
Tome's Full-Stack team is making the Tome web experience delightful and magical. There is much innovative and challenging work ahead, from core experience of creation and consumption, to collaboration and sharing, to deep work on new types of tiles that enrich storytelling capabilities for our users.
What you'll do
• Have large impact on the what and the how of Tome
• Build intuitive, magical, and powerful experiences that demand cutting edge browser-side wizardry
• Craft and develop rich application features using React & TypeScript
• Build backends that are bulletproof, scalable, and fast using Node, TypeScript, Aurora PostgreSQL
• Contribute to system architecture that enables continuous innovation and evolution
• Collaborate with product designers and managers to identify most effective ways of building value for our users
• Run production services
Who you are
• You have 2+ years of experience with a BS EE or CS degree, or equivalent training or work experience
• You have a strong knowledge of modern web stack
Bonus Points
• Experience working as a full-stack developer in a large scale distributed environment
