Lead Product Manager

About the role

We're looking for a Lead Product Manager to lead critical product strategy and execution across multiple key areas of the business. You'll own the outcomes for the products we build—ensuring they're well-crafted, thoughtful, and effective solutions to problems our users encounter. You’ll work at the cutting-edge of building innovative AI systems, and innovative UI/UX systems.

You'll be responsible for leading cross-functional teams and working closely with executive leadership through all stages of the product development process: determining the problems we're solving and why, developing solutions with design and engineering, and then devising a path to launch and learn. As a Lead, you’ll also be responsible for helping develop best practices and processes from the ground up that will help optimize how the team builds, launches, advertises, and monetizes our product.

What you’ll do

• Define and execute the product roadmap in close partnership with the founders, Head of Product, and Head of Engineering.
• Scope work alongside engineering and design to ship high-quality products at a fast pace.
• Identify and measure the key behaviors that determine if a product is resonating with users.
• Conduct research with users to understand their comprehension or opinion of a product.
• Identify best practices around AI, UI/UX, and/or growth for productivity tools.
• Distill user feedback from a range of sources to inform the roadmap.
• Build a thoughtful and rigorous product development culture through your own impact and leadership.

Who you are

• You have 6+ years of experience as a Product Manager working on consumer-facing products.
• You have shipped user-facing product experiences that users love.
• You are passionate about building tools for thinking and expression.
• You are resourceful about finding your way through apparent impasses.
• You can rally your team to a goal and effectively drive decisions even when people disagree.
• You are able to reason from first principles and form positions based on compelling evidence.
• You are a clear and articulate communicator, particularly in written form.
• You are eager to grow and improve at your craft.
• Tech start-up experience a plus.
• Growth, AI products, and/or creator/productivity tools experience a plus.
