Sales Account Executive

Unstructured’s open source solution has been downloaded more than 11M times in the past year and more than 50 thousand companies, including nearly half of the Fortune 500, rely on Unstructured to connect their human-generated data with LLMs. Our commercial Serverless API product launched at the end of June and is processing millions of pages. And our commercial no-code end-to-end data transformation product to enable RAG use cases launches in August. Our mission is to empower businesses and the USG with actionable intelligence derived from text, images, and other unstructured sources.


We are seeking a driven, results-oriented Account Executive to join our dynamic sales team. This individual will play a key role in growing our customer base by developing and nurturing relationships with clients, identifying business opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions that meet client needs.

Requirements: 

-Previously worked at an early stage company and are comfortable in a builder environment 
5+ years of sales experience quarterbacking complex deals that include discovery, demos (co-selling alongside Solutions Engineers), POCs, ROI, and negotiation/ procurement  
-Excited to own your territory, including the creation of pipeline 
-Used value-based selling (Sandler, Customer Centric, etc) to uncover business problems and help champions sell internally 
-Successfully sold new business while also working with existing customers to exceed revenue goals 
-Experience selling in data, Cloud, and SaaS - and building relationships with technical buyers 
-Willingness and interest to travel up to 20-50% 

Preferred Skills: 

-Technical aptitude and comfort in discussing AI and machine learning technologies.
-Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Experience with enterprise-level accounts and complex sales cycles.
