People operations generalist (UK, contract)

We’re looking for a dedicated and self-motivated People Ops Generalist to join our People team. We are building a world-class organization and are looking for a highly personable, highly organized people person who can collaborate across teams and stakeholders. You are keen on creating a quality candidate-to-employee experience and managing all aspects of People Operations functions. You love taking initiative and coming up with new ways to ensure the health and growth of employees. 

As a key member of our People team, you’ll be instrumental in helping us build processes and programs that scale with company growth.

🦸🏻‍♀️ Your responsibilities

  • Serve as the first HR point of contact between all employees, all levels and locations of the company
  • Oversee end-to-end delivery of People Operations, such as onboarding/offboarding, managing our People team ticketing system, visa-related requests, payroll, time off requests, employment verifications and leave management
  • Participate in the planning, coordination, and execution of People team initiatives, including but not limited to new hire onboarding sessions, company events, employee experience projects, and various other enablement initiatives
  • Lead the team through audits and regularly update our employee handbook, processes, and programs to maintain compliance and industry standards 
  • Design new & efficient workflows between cross-functional teams and key stakeholders (Recruiting, Finance, Legal, IT, and Compliance)
  • Collaborate with employees and legal teams/government agencies to ensure case processing for immigration visas and global mobility
  • Handle confidential employee relations matters with discretion and professionalism
  • Support the rollout of organizational changes or new systems, ensuring smooth transitions for employees
  • Workplace admininstrative duties

⭐️ Is this you?

  • 3+ years in a Human Resources / People Operations role, preferable at a high-growth tech company
  • SHRM / PHR certification a plus 
  • Experience building, maintaining, and presenting HR data analytics
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • High emotional and social intelligence with experience fostering positive, strong relationships with diverse groups of people
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills that demonstrate a high level of professionalism
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented; you can handle multiple projects and dynamic priorities without missing a beat
  • Passionate about people and how they function together to create a valuable organization
