Graphics Designer (Marketing)

We are looking for a driven, talented, and experienced graphic designer to join our team, someone who is comfortable with all elements of ideation, graphic and visual design, and branding. In addition to strong graphic design skills, the candidate must have strong strategic and systems thinking, organisational skills, experience working in a design team, and acute attention to detail. They must have excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills and the ability to present and defend their design decisions to leadership.

Typically your work week looks like:

Develop and strengthen brand assets including style and brand guidelines

Deliver high-quality, on-brand graphics to provide a superior customer experience

Maintain a set of design best practices and guidelines to minimize production efforts

Produce creative assets including graphics, templates, layouts and visual standards for marketing activities across multiple channels. These include web, social media, events, email campaigns, video monographs and other activations.

Support your design work using insights from quantitative data and site metrics, segmentation and customer feedback

Quality control to ensure accuracy and a high creative bar.

Present work to the team and key stakeholders for review, feedback, and approval.

Digital platform design experience and understanding of cross-platform design guidelines.

An ideal candidate should have:

Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art Design, Marketing or a related discipline

Extensive experience with Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects and InDesign specifically with mockups, web design and multimedia presentation

4-6 years in professional commercial design, preferably with a marketing or creative agency or being a part of the marketing design team of a corporate / startup

Experience working with Figma templates

Adaptive design eye and skill

Excellent communication skills

Ability to absorb and apply constructive criticism from peers and clients

Preferred qualifications:

Previous work in marketing with multi-touchpoint design

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
