About the Role:

You.com is hiring an AI Research Scientist to lead the development of new AI at the intersection of LLMs and Search to create novel approaches for more trusted generative AI. This role is dedicated to pushing the state-of-the-art.

Responsibilities

  • Design evaluations, metrics, and benchmarks for the assessment of LLM quality.
  • Own experimental pipelines end-to-end and push the state-of-the-art.
  • Manage partnerships with marketing to communicate success through blog posts, published papers, and social media.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience training, fine-tuning, improving, and maintaining large-scale LLMs.
  • Excellent programming and systems understanding
  • Independently driven and holds themselves to very high standards
  • PhD/MS in Machine Learning, Computer Science, or related areas
  • Experience building distributed systems for training LLMs ,search, crawling the web, or data pipelines.
  • Strong publication record in top AI venues like NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, ACL, EMNLP, CVPR, ECCV, and ICCV.
  • Experience with one or more deep learning libraries and platforms (e.g., TensorFlow, Jax, or PyTorch).
  • Proven ability to implement, operate, and deliver results via innovation at a large scale.
  • Full-time industry experience in deep learning research/product.
