Corporate Finance Analyst / Associate

Overview:
We are looking for an intellectually curious Corporate Finance BI Analyst/ Associate with a strong fintech aspirations to join our dynamic, fast-growing team in our Head Office in Singapore. The candidate will also have frequent exposure to our regional businesses in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, and Taiwan.

The ideal candidate is someone who thrives on finding answers to complex business questions through querying custom data definition and analysing outputs.

In this role, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to drive the growth of our organization through delivering in-depth insights on wide-ranging aspects of our business.

Job Responsibilities
• Develop SQL queries to extract data and customize reports for wider finance team
• Identify and execute on opportunities to automate data extraction for monthly financial reporting
• Partner with stakeholders in the wider finance team to design, develop and maintain new dashboards as business needs evolve
• Work closely with data owners and ultimate end users to reconcile data discrepancies, align on data definitions, and ensuring data are readily available for extraction and analysis
• Generate ad-hoc reports to enable regional and local finance teams to deep dive into specific finance issues and anomalies
• Translate requirements from business users into technical requirements for product management team to implement as finance system development improvements
• Generate and provide insights on the data extracted to management teams to help drive business decisions
• Prepare financial model for budgeting and analysis purpose

Job Requirements
• [Mandatory] At least 1 years of experience working with SQL and Tableau
• [Mandatory] Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL/PySpark queries
• [Mandatory] Experienced in building and maintaining dashboards in Tableau
• Demonstrated ability to work with complex data sets to draw impactful insights
• Working knowledge of Excel
• Ability to pitch and communicate technical concepts at the appropriate level for a non-technical audience
• Flexible career seniority depending on candidate's experience and performance
