Business Finance Manager

C3 AI has an opening for a Finance Manager located onsite at our headquarters in Redwood City, CA. The Finance Manager supports the finance function by enabling the business to execute on its plan within budget through data and insight. Improve and automate reporting packages for daily, weekly, monthly or quarterly consumption.
Responsibilities:
- Trusted financial advisor to the business.
- Support monthly department financial reviews of KPI’s and forecasts
- Enable deeper dives in partner COE, cloud spend, T&E management, cost per head by location, etc.
- Headcount planning and tracking:
- Proactively partner with business to identify and challenge the business on justification for more resources
- Produce tracking that aligns with Op Plan/Forecasts enabling a clear req process – approval, tracking, and reconciliation of headcount that achieves 1:1:1 Plan to Req to Location
- Ensure budget and forecasts are accurately reflected in the system of record and there is a timely source of truth
- Own the improvement and automation of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly reports
- Ad hoc support outside of scope of role as needed
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each of the responsibilities described above. The candidate must have the capacity to take on additional responsibilities as the Company grows. The requirements listed below are representative of the attributes required.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field of study
- Track record of driving positive results in a very hands-on environment
- Demonstrated success in consistently producing timely and highly detailed reports.
- Experience with dashboard like tools to automate
- Expert using excel.
- Strong experience using NetSuite and leveraging customizable reports
- Nice to have Anaplan, Adaptive or similar planning tools experience
- Quick learner, fast mover
- Meticulous attention to detail (perfectionist) and natural analytical thinking.
- Superb time management, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrates strong personal integrity, C3 AI values and ethics.
