C3 AI has an opening for a Director, Corporate Finance located onsite at our headquarters in Redwood City, CA. The Director, Corporate Finance will lead the Corporate Finance function and own the company forecasting, budgeting, operating plan management, headcount management, board material management, executive briefing, and various ad hoc projects for the finance organization. This senior leadership role will set the direction for the finance organization and will be a highly visible presence in executive and board-level decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Op Plan and Forecasts of company P&L, Cash Flow, and HC projecting out at least one Fiscal Year beyond the current year.
- Lead the Annual and Quarterly Op Planning process with clear deliverables and deadlines to stakeholders
- Live up to date P&L, Cash Flow, and HC models during close process as well as when new information is relevant
- Timely and accurate forecasting, reporting of month/quarter-end packages and KPI’s
- Perform Gross Margin analysis and identify actionable steps to improve via deeper dives into direct investments, allocations, specific products, regions etc.
- Ad hoc modeling of new Product P&L and initiatives
- Support management presentations for earnings, guidance, board deck, etc.
- Partner with Revenue Accounting to deepen Bookings and Revenue forecasting and analysis
- Partner with commissions team to improve forecasting commission expenses
Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field of study
- Track record of driving positive results in a very hands-on environment
- Demonstrated success in consistently producing timely and highly predictable financial models.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Quick learner, fast mover
- Meticulous attention to detail (perfectionist) and natural analytical thinking.
- Superb time management, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrates strong personal integrity, C3 AI values and ethics.
