What you’ll be doing

  • You’ll oversee and/or lead high priority, complex, CEO sponsored projects end-to-end 
  • You’ll deep dive on metrics that aren’t tracking to targets and liaise with product teams to ensure there’s a plan in place to rectify.
  • You’ll bring the leadership team together & run team meetings in lieu of the CEO (prepare the agenda, take notes, assign action items, follow up and hold owners accountable for rolling out key initiatives & decisions)
  • You’ll foster a collaborative environment by actively engaging with cross-functional teams, promoting knowledge sharing, and facilitating effective communication to drive successful outcomes aligned with Cleo’s business objectives.
  • You’ll proactively identify areas for improvement and enhance current processes to optimise operational efficiency, ensure deadlines are met, and initiatives are executed effectively.
  • You’ll work closely with other key stakeholders and the CEO’s executive assistant to ensure proper preparation of the CEO for any and all meetings and work to optimise their time.

About you

We’re looking for a rare Founder Associate that has exceptional people, leadership & numerical skills. Bonus if you’ve got deep product knowledge and experience! 

  • You're comfortable problem solving & making decisions on complex topics with high levels of ambiguity in a results driven environment. 
  • You’re comfortable influencing without authority and exceptional at building relationships with senior stakeholders across the business to get things done. 
  • Experience in Product is a plus, but not required (e.g. ex-product manager, product-focused ex-founder etc ) 
  • You’re a doer who is extremely organised and diligent
  • You’re a self starter, curious, and quick to learn, knowing what questions to ask to get up to speed quickly  
  • You’re an exceptional communicator and ideally have strong written prose
  • You’re highly ambitious and would like to found a company, run a division of a company or take up an associate/principal position at a top tier VC firm one day

How long will the process take?

We aim to move as fast as possible, usually 2 weeks is enough time for us all to get to know each other

  • Step 1: 30-minute video call with a member of our Talent team to find out more about your experience and why you want to work at Cleo
  • Step 2: 45-60 mins video call with Emma Cohen, our Chief of Staff 
  • Step 3: 60 mins video call with cross-functional peers from two of Operations, Commercial or Finance
  • Step 4: 30 mins video call with Barney Hussey-Yeo, our CEO & Founder
