As a Sales & Business Development Intern, you'll work within our Business Development team of 5. In this role, there is plenty of room for your ideas. Our team is growing fast and we'll support your growth ambitions as much as possible. We're flexible, and as long as you're proactive and take responsibility for your own work, we'll be a great match!
Actively research and source (potential) clients to boost revenue.
Prepare, participate and represent Deeploy in sales meetings.
Conduct and support market-, competitor- and user research in the MLOps and XAI field to support crucial management decisions.
Contribute to the development, improvement, and automation of business processes and tooling suite (incl. CRM management, analytics, lead generation, …).
Work closely with cross-department stakeholders (e.g., Marketing, Sales and Product) and our founding team to improve our product and drive further growth.
Participate and support (online) events and workshops that drive new business.
Within 1 month you'll:
Understand how Deeploy works, get integrated within the team and hit the ground running when it comes to your role
Support continuous market-, competitor- and user research to gain valuable insights and better understand MLOps and XAI
Within 3 months you'll:
Research and source potential clients
Gain in-depth knowledge about MLOps/XAI and the challenges that Deeploy could solve
Within 6 months you'll:
Identify new tools / methods / sales processes that work best
Help us go to market much quicker - our velocity has increased significantly
You are currently pursuing or already completed a Bachelor or Master study in a business-related field.
Ideally, you have first experience in sales-related functions (e.g., business development, sales, marketing, or corporate strategy).
Experience in B2B and/or financial services are a plus, but not a must.
You are tech-driven and eager to dive into AI and Machine Learning.
You strive to take ownership of tasks and projects and successfully complete them in high quality.
You are fluent in Dutch and English in written and spoken form.
You are a fast learner and have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
You are available for at least 5-6 months.

How we proceed after the first talk: 📞
Because we think finding and hiring team members is one of the most important things we need to do right as a company, we designed a simple process so you know exactly how we proceed. We like to be quick, and typically complete our interview process within 2 weeks.
Step 1: Apply for the job and give us a good impression of yourself. Next to a LinkedIn/CV, we are even more interested in personal projects that you are proud of.
Step 2: You’ll have a 30-minute introduction call to one of the recruitment team, typically this will let you know about all the great stuff we’re working on, prepare you for the rounds, and answer any questions you may have. Furthermore, we’ll find out a bit more about you on this call.
Step 3: We schedule a meeting with one of our founders. This is an informal meeting where we are mainly interested in who you are, what you value, and where you are proud of. We may highlight some interesting things we read in your application but we certainly are not going to discuss your CV step-by-step.
Step 4: We invite you for another meeting, preferably with 2 team members with who you are likely to work together with in your job. This time we give you a nice Business Development challenge. Depending on the situation we ask you to prepare the challenge before the meeting. Or even better, we invite you to solve the challenge in our office so you can get a grasp of the Deeploy atmosphere as well. We value your time, so we timebox the challenge to a maximum of 3 hours. Remember, experience is a nice bonus, but we mainly look at your engineering potential and team fit.
