The Impact You’ll Have

At Gretel, you'll be working closely with the executive team to keep things running smoothly in a remote environment, allowing them to focus on building the best synthetic data platform on the market. 

Responsibilities

  • Manage complex calendars and schedule appointments, meetings, and events for the founders, taking into account time zones and other variables.
  • Act as a gatekeeper and handle incoming communication (meetings, emails, messages), filtering and prioritizing requests for the founders' attention.
  • Occasionally coordinate travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, transportation, and itineraries, while ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.  Complete expense reports after trips.
  • Prepare and edit documents, presentations, and reports for internal and external stakeholders, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Assist with organizing and coordinating internal and external meetings, including logistics, agendas, materials, and follow-up actions.
  • Manage and prioritize incoming requests, track action items, and ensure timely completion of tasks and deliverables.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with utmost discretion, maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
  • Work with the People Ops team to plan and execute internal company events. 

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, supporting C-level executives or founders, preferably in a fast-paced start-up environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively in a remote work environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using productivity tools and software such as Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Slides).
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and anticipate needs and potential issues.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for tasks and projects.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, managing time effectively while ensuring responsiveness and meeting deadlines.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to a rapidly changing work environment, embracing new challenges and opportunities.

Compensation

Employee compensation will be determined based on interview performance, level of experience, specialization of skills, and market rate. During the offer discussion, your recruiter will review the finalized base salary, stock options, benefits and perks.

Employees hired in the U.S. and Canada can expect the below information to reflect a reasonable estimate of the salary offered for this role. Salary ranges are updated regularly using premium market data.
