The Impact You’ll Have
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Gretel, you will be an essential part of our sales team responsible for driving inbound and outbound pipeline generation identifying and qualifying potential high propensity leads. You'll play a crucial role in expanding Gretel.ai's customer base and contribute to our overall growth and success in the synthetic data and generative AI industry.
- Qualification and Research: Conduct thorough research on potential prospects to understand their business needs, pain points, and decision-making processes. Evaluate leads based on predetermined criteria to assess fit for Gretel.ai's solutions.
- Lead Prospecting & Discovery: Utilize various channels to generate a consistent flow of sales qualified leads and opportunities; conduct discovery calls to better understand their requirements and provide tailored solutions to meet their needs by communicating the value of Gretel.ai's products and services.
- Collaboration with Account Executives: Work closely with the sales team to schedule qualified meetings and transition leads, ensuring a smooth process from leads to opportunities.
- Database Management: Keep accurate records of all interactions and activities in the Salesforce (CRM), maintain up-to-date prospect data, and track progress in the sales pipeline.
- Performance Metrics: Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly quotas for qualified opportunities and net new meetings.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing and product teams to provide feedback from prospects and assist in developing targeted campaigns and messaging. Stay informed on Gretel’s product and feature enhancements to improve your pitch and product positioning.
- Continuous Learning: Engage in ongoing trainings and stay informed of industry trends to enhance your knowledge of Gretel's offerings, sales techniques, and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with a focus on computer science, engineering or statistics preferred.
- Proven track record in lead generation and sales, ideally for a SaaS-based or machine learning product, engaging with technical audiences and personas.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage prospects confidently and build rapport.
- Experience with MEDDPICC sales methodologies.
- Persistent, self-motivated, and results-oriented, with a passion for driving success.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales automation tools (e.g., Salesforce or similar).

Compensation
Employee compensation will be determined based on interview performance, level of experience, specialization of skills, and market rate. During the offer discussion, your recruiter will review the finalized base salary, bonus (for applicable roles), benefits and perks (additional information available on our career site), and stock options as they’ll be reflected in the offer letter.
Employees hired in the U.S. and Canada can expect the below information to reflect a reasonable estimate of the salary offered for this role. Salary ranges are updated regularly using premium market data. (Please note: it is unusual for new hires to receive a base salary at the top of the range. Additionally, the value of Gretel.ai’s stock options is not included in the salary bands and may represent a significant portion of your compensation.)
