Role

Harvey is seeking a People Systems & Program Lead. The role will have a huge impact by scaling our HR operations quickly and effectively, and will help develop a best in class employee experience. You’ll report directly to our Head of People, partnering closely on initiates such as the design, implementation, and administration of Harvey’s compensation programs, benefits administration, managing our HRIS, delivery of high-impact projects, and establishing service excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Compensation 

    • In partnership with the Head of People, develop and implement competitive compensation strategies that attract and retain top talent.
    • Conduct regular market analysis to ensure compensation packages are competitive.
    • Oversee the administration of salary structures, incentive plans, and bonus programs.
    • Partner closely with our recruiting team on external offers.
    • Ensure compliance with all compensation-related laws and regulations.
  • HRIS Management

    • Oversee the selection, implementation, and maintenance of HRIS systems.
    • Ensure HRIS systems are utilized effectively to streamline HR processes and provide accurate data and reporting.
  • Benefits

    • Lead the project to move Harvey off of a PEO, and onto a self-administered benefits plan.
    • Ensure benefits strategies are competitive and aligned with organizational goals.
    • Monitor industry trends and best practices to keep programs competitive and effective.
    • Manage a leave administration vendor and ensure compliance with payroll
  • Data Analysis and Reporting

    • Analyze data from benefits, compensation, and HRIS to to track key metrics, measure program effectiveness, drive continuous improvement, and inform decision-making.
    • Prepare and present reports on program effectiveness and recommendations for improvements.
    • Use data to forecast future needs and budget accordingly.
  • Strategic Project Management

    • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of high-impact projects. Develop detailed project plans, set clear milestones, manage resources, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
    • Design and implement change management and communication strategies to drive successful adoption of new programs and initiatives. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in compensation, benefits, and HR Services.
  • Experience in program/project management, with a proven track record in managing complex, cross-functional projects.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a strategic mindset and the ability to manage both detailed tasks and big-picture strategies.
  • Customer-centric approach with a passion for delivering a best in class employee experience.
  • Experience designing, implementing and scaling systems and processes in a fast paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to build and maintain cross-functional relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in data-driven decision-making and program evaluation.
  • Understand business needs and create processes, policies, and workflows that are compliant, efficient, scale, and reflect Harvey’s values.

Compensation 

In consideration of market analysis and relevant factors, the salary range for this position is set between $200,000 and $250,000. However, adjustments outside of this range may be considered for candidates whose qualifications significantly differ from those outlined in the job description. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in our equity plan and benefits program. Benefits include, but not limited to: Comprehensive health, dental and vision coverage, retirement benefits (401k match up to 4%), and flexible PTO.
