Talent Operations Lead
Magic’s mission is to build safe AGI that accelerates humanity’s progress on the world’s most important problems. About the role:
As our Talent Operations Lead, you will lead the design and optimization of our recruiting processes.
Hiring superstar talent is one way to succeed, and there’s nothing wrong with it. However, we distinctly set the goal to find hidden gems who are just about to become the next generation of superstar talent, and then we try to give them the opportunity to do their best work. We also want to keep the team small and talent-dense, so we can’t afford many errors of judgment in either direction.
In addition to running talent ops, you will help with sourcing, interviewing candidates, and ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
What you might work on:
- Designing and implementing effective interview and assessment processes
- Continuously analyzing and optimizing our processes, sourcing, and public-facing materials by leveraging data, tools and your intuition
- Drive diversity and inclusion efforts in the recruitment process, ensuring everyone gets an equal opportunity to show what they are capable of
- Ensure all recruiting activities comply with legal and ethical standards
- Sourcing, initial application review and intro calls

Compensation, benefits and perks (US):
- Annual salary range: $150K - $300K
- Equity is a significant part of total compensation, in addition to salary
