The Opportunity
As an People Ops Intern supporting the Global People Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in assisting with various human resources functions and initiatives on a global scale. You will gain hands-on experience and exposure to diverse HR activities, contributing to the overall success of the People Operations team.
What You Will Do
As part of the team, you will
- Recruitment Support: Screening applicants, managing requisitions and providing metrics
- Onboarding and Offboarding: Aid in onboarding new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization. Assist with offboarding procedures as needed.
- HR Administration: Assist in maintaining HR databases, updating employee records, and preparing HR-related documents such as contracts, offer letters, and policies.
- Global HR Projects: Participate in global HR projects including HRIS migration and various company initiatives, and administrative support as required.
- Compliance: Assist in ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies across various jurisdictions.
- HR Metrics and Reporting: Assist in compiling HR metrics and preparing reports for management review.
Who You Are & What You Bring
- Aptitude for quickly learning new and emerging technologies
- Experience with Greenhouse, Zenefits, Charthop is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
- Strong project management, critical thinking, and cross-group collaboration skills are required
- 1-2 years of human resources experience is a plus
- A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources, Psychology or some related discipline is strongly preferred.
- MBA is also preferred but not required.
