Internal Communications Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Internal Communication Manager to develop and implement communication strategies that will engage and inform our employees. The Internal Communication Manager will be responsible for managing internal communication channels, creating content, and ensuring consistent messaging across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an internal communication strategy that aligns with the organization's overall objectives and values
  • Manage internal communication channels such as company intranet, email announcements and newsletters. 
  • Pre-approve all employee press and speaking engagements
  • Assist in employee media training
  • Create, edit and approve social media posts for Stability AI channels 
  • Assist with creation and editing of press releases
  • Oversee, edit and finalize copy for Stability AI website and affiliated research hub websites
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to gather information and ensure accurate and timely communication
  • Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all internal communication channels
  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of internal communication activities, and make adjustments as needed
  • Develop and execute crisis communication plans as necessary
  • Continuously improve internal communication processes and tools to ensure maximum effectiveness



Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in internal communication, employee engagement, or related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft and edit copy at a professional level
  • Knowledge of technology field and terminology, and a broad understanding of the AI landscape
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience managing communication channels such as company intranet, newsletters, and social media platforms
  • Knowledge of communication best practices, including crisis communication
  • Ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to measure the effectiveness of communication activities
