📐 About this role
The Accounts Receivable Associate is responsible for ensuring accuracy in invoicing, managing incoming payments, and maintaining financial records. This role involves direct interaction with customers to resolve billing issues and improve payment processes.
🦸🏻♀️ Your responsibilities
- Ensure customers are billed timely and accurately
- Follow up with customers on outstanding invoices, maintaining organized records of payment status to accurately forecast collections
- Own the sales tax compliance platform to ensure that we’re appropriately remitting sales tax to applicable jurisdictions
- Process and verify incoming payments, ensuring correct entry into the accounting system
- Maintain accounts receivable files and records, including tax exemption certificates
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in payments
- Assist in the monthly close process, ensuring all tasks are completed timely
- Participate in the financial statement audit, working closely with the Controller and external auditors

- 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable or related field
- Proficient in accounting software and ERPs
- Strong organizational and communication skills
