Chief of Staff to the CTO (f/m/d)*
YOUR MISSION:
As the Chief of Staff to the CTO (f/m/d)*, you will be the right-hand person to our CTO and co-founder Stefan Ostwald. You'll play a critical role in supporting his strategic vision, streamlining tech team operations, and fostering strong collaboration within the tech organization and with other stakeholders. By driving key initiatives and optimizing communication, you'll empower Stefan to focus on high-impact decisions and propel the company's technological growth.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
- Lead and Manage Initiatives: Lead high-priority technical initiatives, driving projects to completion on time and within budget.
- Strategically Support Leadership: Provide high-level support for the CTO to develop and execute the technology and product roadmap.
- Communication & Collaboration: Support the CTO in driving effective communication and collaboration within the tech-organization and the wider Parloa organization. Support important meetings (e.g. Board meetings, Roadmap, tech all-hands, key customer Interactions) by preparing required communication materials as well as follow-ups.
- Oversee Vendor Relationships: for key technology partners, managing contracts and ensuring successful project execution.
- Assist Talent Acquisition Process: Support with identifying and attracting top tech talent, supporting the recruitment process for key roles in the tech organization.
- Monitor key metrics: Track & report key metrics related to technology and product performance, providing insights to inform strategic decision-making.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in a technical or product-related role or in a leadership role supporting a senior technical leader at a high-growth tech company. Experience navigating fast-paced environments, fostering collaboration between technical and non-technical teams and ability to support management of complex technical organizations is a plus.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong leadership skills in developing and implementing long-term plans, overseeing budgets and resources, driving innovation, and supporting the shaping of the tech departments’ overall strategy and vision – acting as a trusted advisor to the CTO on key initiatives.
- Project Management Expertise: Ability to lead department- and company-wide projects.. Manage multiple work streams simultaneously and independently, effectively prioritizing tasks, and ensuring on-time delivery to effectively support the CTO and his leadership team.
- Leadership Qualities: Adept at motivating and collaborating with cross-functional teams, fostering the Parloa culture of innovation and execution.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Organizational Prowess: Highly organized and detail-oriented, demonstrating mastery in allocating time and resources.
- Excellent proficiency in English (native or bilingual)
- Data Savvy: Used to crunching numbers and converting the insights in simple slides.
